Sowing the Seeds for a Formidable, Brighter Tomorrow
It's been about three years since my last blog, and it seems as though nothing has really changed - I find myself right where I started. Just replace "married" with "divorced" and that's just as much that's changed. And yes, I'm back on home soil - India!
Sometimes, it's best things just take their natural course in the sequence they're supposed to, no point keeping a relationship going when there is absolutely nothing to hold on to. So goes my story as well, and I'm glad I walked out when I could, no regrets whatsoever. I believe I gave it whatever I could to try and work things out, but things weren't meant to be.
Enough of the marriage-divorce saga in a foreign country. I realized one thing whilst my horrendous existence in the United States - there's absolutely no country as warm and giving as India! I'm glad I made it back home to Bangalore when I did. I was fortunate that I had to wait only two weeks to be employed with a booming industry. My tenure in content writing with one of the biggest giants in the market has propelled me into a formidable direction. After serving them for over a year, I've decided to move on to ventures where work culture and employee satisfaction move in tandem. The moment either of these is compromised, you can see your life plummeting to rock bottom.
Some companies thrive on making a living through numbers and by squeezing out the last sign of life left in their employees; I believe in making a living with heart and soul; numbers come and go, the soul once compromised is difficult to make up. I don't regret bidding farewell to them; we just weren't on the same page is all - my aspirations and their tunnel vision. However, I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work under the umbrella of a BIG brand company.
Sometimes, it's best to take a step backward to clear the cloud weighing on your shoulders. I'm not designed to function like a robot in a factory, where brains don't come into play. That said, the hunt for thriving opportunities is on. Sooner or later, a formidable opportunity is bound to open its doors to creative and dedicated souls such as myself.

I will keep looking forward to more. Keep writing.
